The Abercrombie Building
21-25 Codrington St, Darlington
The Abercrombie Building is the flagship home for the University of Sydney Business School. The building has provided the School with a transformational opportunity to consolidate its facilities which were spread across nine buildings of varying standards on the Camperdown/Darlington campuses.
The building is located in the inner-city district of Darlington and has been integrated into the local community to now provide the southern entry to the University’s Camperdown/Darlington Campus. The state-of-the-art facilities will better support the University’s objective of providing a business school placed among the top-ranking universities worldwide.
The precinct provides:
- a 550-seat tiered lecture theatre
- three lecture theatres (300 seats each)
- eight 100-seat case study rooms
- 33 seminar rooms of varying size
- a learning hub
- 1500sqm of informal learning space.
Doltone House – Darling Island
48 Pirrama Rd, Pyrmont
Doltone House – Darling Island offers an event experience alongside one of the best harbours in the world, an ideal venue location. Only minutes the Darling Harbour precinct, Doltone House Darling Island is within easy walking distance of the CBD and all the attractions that Sydney city has to offer.
Serving Sydney’s best quality produce, from the freshest of seafoods, and the premium cut of meats, they source only the highest standard foods. Upon arrival at the Pyrmont venue, the evening will begin with canapes and pre-dinner drinks, accompanied by some soft Jazz music, the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind after a long day at the conference.
Following canapes, we will be seated in the dining room, boasting amazing views of the Sydney City skyline. You will be served a delicious 2 course menu, during which some special announcements and presentations will take place. Following dinner we will have the live band take it up a notch to get us all up on the dancefloor.

The Abercrombie is a historical icon, offering a multi-level bar experience that champions a culture of inclusivity and expression. This local treasure has been transformed to cater for an array of music tastes – from non-stop parties on the ground floor to a more relaxed atmosphere upstairs at Casa Rosa or to the terraces for a late-night wine bar at Lil Sis.
This venue will host our Sunday afternoon informal “Welcome Drinks”, and we have also reserved tables for a post-symposium dinner “Kick-On”. It is conveniently located adjacent to to the main accommodation venue, 4 Points by Sheraton, which makes it the ideal place to meet up with fellow delegates for dinner or a drink any night whilst you are in Sydney for the conference.
