The University of Sydney Business School Building – Belinda Hutchinson Building

21-25 Codrington St, Darlington

The Belinda Hutchinson Building is the flagship home for the University of Sydney Business School. The building has provided the School with a transformational opportunity to consolidate its facilities which were spread across nine buildings of varying standards on the Camperdown/Darlington campuses.

The building is located in the inner-city district of Darlington and has been integrated into the local community to now provide the southern entry to the University’s Camperdown/Darlington Campus. The state-of-the-art facilities will better support the University’s objective of providing a business school placed among the top-ranking universities worldwide.

The precinct provides:

a 550-seat tiered lecture theatre
three lecture theatres (300 seats each)
eight 100-seat case study rooms
33 seminar rooms of varying size
a learning hub
1500sqm of informal learning space.

Starship Sydney – Harbour Cruise

Starship Sydney is Sydney Harbour’s most iconic floating glass vessel, purpose-built to host a wide variety of premium events. From luxurious weddings and high-end corporate functions to standout product launches, automotive showcases and birthday parties, this boat delivers unforgettable experiences with uninterrupted 360° views.

On Starship Sydney, no intrusive pillars hinder the line of sight for your guests. At 450 square metres, it is the largest open-plan deck space available in the city. The large surround glass windows are tinted to reduce glare and improve visual colours to an almost polarized effect. The ceiling height and windows on this level are an impressive 3.5 metres and there is an amazing open glass void reaching through to the 2nd level above the dance floor.

You will be treated to welcome Canapes upon boarding, followed by 2 course meal and 4 hour unlimited drinks package including beer, wine and soft drinks. A number of presentations will be made during dinner service, however once the food is finished, we will have the live band take it up a notch to get us all up on the dancefloor as we cruise around Sydney Harbour. If dancing isn’t really your thing, then escape the noise on the upper deck and take in the spectacular views of the city from the water.

This venue will host our Sunday afternoon informal “Welcome Drinks”, and we have also reserved tables for a post-symposium dinner “Kick-On” on Tuesday night. It is conveniently located in the lobby of the main accommodation venue, 4 Points by Sheraton, which makes it the ideal place to meet up with fellow delegates for dinner or a drink any night whilst you are in Sydney for the conference.
